Projects
Future Focus is a three year £4.68m project providing focused support to ERDF eligible SMEs that show the potential for growth through innovation. Each SME will have dedicated support through a unique and tailored Growth through Innovation Plan, access to industry experts and resources to achieve growth through a three stage innovation programme. The support provided will be in accordance with the SMEs progress and demonstration of innovation potential.
Future Focus will deliver quality support to five hundred and fifty SMEs in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly creating one hundred and twenty jobs, £11.7m Gross Value Added and a Return on Investment of £3m.
All SME beneficiaries will receive dedicated support through their personalised innovation journey. Ongoing assessment of Research Development and Innovation investment and economic growth will ensure support is focussed, appropriate and aligned to the objectives set out in the personalised Growth Through Innovation plan.
Delivered in partnership by Cornwall College and the University of Exeter, Future Focus is well aligned to other business support programmes in the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership area, including the Growth Hub; and developing Research Development and Innovation programmes.
